Chip Worrell apologizes

Nicely done, Mr. Worrell:
In the spirit of the season, I want to apologize to the Flat Rock villagers I offended with last month’s column. I behaved poorly.

  1. Is this for real? Did Mr. Chip Worrell publish his apology in the newspaper?
Very interesting that local soccer association been so quiet since the Highland Lakes project got kicked off the table. We haven't seen a comment from Mr. Clement Riddle or Mr. Tim Hopkins.
Has anyone heard news on Course Doctors plans?
We will keep reading as long as you keep your blog active.
Thanks too you, accurate facts are available.

  2. Yes, if you follow the link in the post above, it takes you to Chip Worrell's Friday column in the Times-News, and his apology is at the end of his column.
Mr. Riddle made a statement to the Times-News right after the county commissioners vetoed the deal and Mr. Davis of Course Doctors made a statement to the paper as well.

  4. I myself think it takes a big person to apolize publicly than to not. I also think he has had time to look at this whole issue at length and realizes that he was wrong in his thinking. So, let's ALL hope that the kids get a logical place to play soccer.
