Henderson County Commissioners vote NOT to purchase
At tonight's monthly Henderson County board of commissioners meeting, the commissioners voted NOT to continue with the purchase of the Highland Lake Golf Club in order to develop a soccer complex. The vote was unanimous.
Congratulations to the people of Flat Rock, and all of Henderson County, for stopping the soccer complex boondoggle. Astonishing how badly mismanaged Henderson County government handled this.
It is very refreshing to know the commissioners listened to the residents. I sincerely hope HC and V of FR's elected officials will be more diligent in the future. I sincerely wish the HC soccer association good luck.
Mr Edney is totally out of touch with his constituents, the people that elected him are not his concern for what ever the reason. We need to let him hear our voice and solicit him to resign....or at least work to gedt him out at the re-election in 2014 !
