More on the legal fund

The three communities most directly impacted by the proposed development of the Highland Lake Park/Soccer Complex are:

• Highland Golf Villas
• Statonwoods
• Highland Lake Village

These three homeowner associations have retained legal counsel to explore their legal options. Robert Dungan of the Dungan Law Firm in Asheville is the attorney representing these homeowners.

Because Highland Golf Villas is most directly impacted, the Highland Golf Villas HOA has agreed to manage the legal defense fund. No HOA funds from any of these three communities will be used to pay for legal counsel. The Highland Golf Villas HOA has established a separate account, “Friends of Flat Rock,” with separate bookkeeping into which they will deposit any donations received.
