Dear Commissioner Young,
We would like to thank you for your vote to reject the Soccer Complex proposal. We own two properties at Highland Golf and this complex not only would devalue the property there, but would have negative environmental impact (traffic, noise, lighting, crime, litter, etc.). It is obvious that this was not a well thought out plan and a plan we cannot afford. The lack of transparency on the part of the Board is appalling and most disturbing.
Is there any possibility that this decision could be reconsidered by the Board for vote? Is there any possibility that you would consider meeting with a group of concerned citizens in Flat Rock? We would like to personally thank you and to ascertain how best we can support you in your position.
