The key issue is that Flat Rock just is not the right place for a complex that would do justice for our children and our community. The complex proposed in Fletcher is the right place. Well said!!!! Why has the soccer association group been totally quiet since Mayor Bob announced Flat Rock's negative position. At Monday's meeting, HC Commissioners should publicly apologize for their ill conceived plot.
ReplyDeleteAnonymous, the Henderson County Soccer Association president, Clement Riddle, did issue a statement on Monday (as quoted in the Times-News): “On behalf of everyone with the Henderson County Soccer Association, I want to thank the county commissioners for recognizing the need for a soccer complex in our community and their support during this process. To the thousands of people who expressed their overwhelming support to the county and Soccer Association by writing letters, emails and attending public meetings, I want to thank you.”
