I should have a post up tomorrow on tonight's County Board of Commissioners meeting, and the video from the meeting should be online soon. Thanks to all who turned out tonight, and thanks especially to the affects HOAs who have retained legal counsel.
Just a quick point--the financing issue which was on the table for tonight has been postponed, but I don't know when it will be revived. Chairman Edney is pushing for a cash sale since Henderson County projects net revenue of $ 3.4 million--so instead of replenishing budgets that were cut 7.5%, they'll just buy a soccer complex. Makes sense to me.
it seemed that the commissioners have made up there mind and it doesnt matter what is said they dont care about the people in Flat Rock now its up to the flat rock mayor he makes it or breaks it i hope he reviews the vision statement real carefully... we need all residents to attend thursday @ 9:30 A.M. and speak up or forever hold your peace

ReplyDeleteAlso, found it entertaining that Hopkins' staff "accidentally" sent that e-mail to the soccer community. Highly disappointing.

Well if thats the case everybody must attend the meeting on thursday A.M. @ 9:30 @ flat rock town hall. Our mayor was thrown under the bus as stated we now he stands up and delivers for the resident of flat rock. His next term will depend on it wake up flat rock!!! We need to defeat this proposed soccer park for all residents.... SHOW UP AND MAKE IT COUNT NO SOCCER PARK IN OUR CITY..... KEEP IT BEAUTIFUL LIKE THE VISION STATEMENT STATES...
