Party like it's 1776

To the Henderson County commissioners from Ron Redmon:

Your handling of this matter is completely out of line with the principles of democracy won by our Founders and enshrined in our Constitution. Your secrecy and disregard for the rights of those most immediately impacted by your decision are outrageous and not worthy of your oath of office. If you truly care about serving the people of Henderson County in a respectful way -- rather than perpetrating a raid both on our rights and our treasury under cover of protecting the sellers(!) -- you will delay action on this purchase until the people can be heard and the appropriate studies are completed. Shame!
